That one time when Ryan said….
“We should go RV’ing.”
We thought RV life was going to be something we did on occasion like a cruise. We realized – this was different.
We grew up right next door to each other as neighbor kids. Our bedrooms were across the fence line and we would communicate by flashing our bedroom lights. Ryan being a few years older had a late night job while Sarah was still in high school. Even though we were neighbor kids sometimes seeing each other required some creativity.
Day #2 on our Momentum Journey.
28 Years and going…..
We have three adult children one of which will travel with us on occasion. We always knew that someday we would buy a RV and travel the country but in 2019 the conversation became more serious. We decided to rent a couple rigs and we were off. We took a loaner (free of charge) from a dealer for 4 months while waiting for our Momentum to be built and once we received our rig… we were off.
What Stickers?
We haven’t committed to putting the US map on the rig yet marking off the states we have hit – so for now this is our version!
Now we have been in many of the grayed out states (driven through Colorado several times in the rig – heck one of us were born in a gray state) but we aren’t counting them until we have really spent some time with the rig in the state.

We almost lost her BUT $5,000 later and 2 weeks of crate rest…
This DOG definitely had her DAY (at the beach) and SHE IS BACK! 🤍
Hana got the ALL CLEAR to resume her normal activities…even go to the beach, which is her FAVORITE PLACE! 🌊

Since we went full time, this is our 3rd time to cross the bridge over to South Padre Island. It feels like home.
There’s nothing like going from red rock mountains to the sounds of the ocean. From freezing cold temps of New Mexico to the humid sunny skies of S. Texas. We are HERE for it all….this is the TRAVEL LIFE we 🤍!

UNPLUGGED 🔌DOES YOUR RIG HAVE SOLAR? ☀️
Whether we are plugged in or unplugged, we can pretty much live the same. It gives us the ability to stay in places like Valley of the Gods (pic) for as long as our tanks can make it 😉
We are pretty good at conserving our water and on our way to the next spot we always TRY to find a FREE dumping station that also has fresh water.
It’s our absolute favorite way to live
ALSO, if you haven’t been to Garden of the Gods you definitely need to put it on the 🪣 list!
